Privacy Policy

Astrosync (“we”, “us”, the “app”) is an astrology and tarot app. We built it to be private by default: your personal birth details stay on your own device. This policy explains exactly what data is involved, where it goes, and your choices.

1. Information you provide

To calculate your birth chart, the app asks for your name (optional) and your date, time and place of birth. This information is stored locally on your device only (in your device’s app storage). We do not run user accounts, and this data is never uploaded to a server owned by us.

2. Birth-chart calculations (third-party API)

To turn your birth details into a chart, daily panchang and related readings, the app sends your date, time and place of birth (not your name) to the VedAstro open calculation API over a secure connection. VedAstro returns the astrological data the app displays. Please review VedAstro’s own terms for how they handle requests.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain information, such as your device’s advertising identifier, app interactions, and approximate, non-precise location, to deliver and measure ads.

• In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app shows a Google-certified consent form before serving personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time from the app’s privacy options.
• You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not require an account, email or phone number.
• We do not run our own analytics or tracking servers.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

5. Your choices & control

• Delete your data: clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app removes your saved birth details from the device.
• Ad consent (EEA/UK): reopen the consent form from the app to withdraw or change consent.

6. Data security & retention

Birth details remain on your device until you remove them. Network requests use HTTPS. Because we don’t store your data on our own servers, there is no central copy for us to retain or expose.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
